Behavioral-based interviewing is based on the principle that past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior. By focusing on candidates’ previous work experience you get a better understanding of how they will perform in the future.
During this 2-day interactive course, you will also uncover how behavioral interviewing reduces potential bias or discrimination, lowers attrition, increases return on investment, and makes your recruitment process legally defensible. You will not only learn the techniques to effectively hire the best and the brightest candidates, but you will also conduct interviews with real candidates during the course to practice their skills!

What is Behavioural Interviewing?
Behavioral interviewing skills training involves five steps. First, you learn to identify key behaviors necessary for job success. Second, you learn to develop interview questions related to these behavioral success factors that take into consideration the organizational culture and the
particular knowledge, skills, and abilities important to succeed in specific jobs. Third, you learn how to avoid common interviewing errors. Fourth, you rceive training on effective interviewing techniques that includes asking probing follow-up questions, controlling the pace of the interview, and setting the tone for
an effective interview. Finally, you practice your new skills by interviewing real candidates and receiving feedback on your interviewing skills.
