Interview Coaching Approach
Research & Prepare: Half the battle of acing an interview is preparation prior to the actual interview. Your consultant will work with you to identify the appropriate things to research and prepare prior to your interview based on your unique needs.
STAR Technique: The majority of companies today are conducting behavioural-based interviews that require you to respond with very specific examples from your work history. Your consultant will demonstrate and practice the STAR technique with you that will not only assist you in acing behavioural-based interviews but also put you ahead of the competition in more traditional interviews as well.
Mock Interview: We belive the only real way to demonstrate confidence and charisma during an interview is to practice! The mock interview is an essential component of our interview coaching process as it familiarizes you with common interview questions, while giving you real-time feedback on the content and tone of your responses. Plus, it is a safe, no-risk environment for you to experiment with your responses unti you get the right ones!
Staging: Selling yourself to an employer is like selling a home. You need to set the stage so employers (or buyers) can picture themselves working with you in their environment. Once you are comfortable and confident with responding to questions, your consultant will work with you to polish your presentation style and approach so it can truly highlight the asset you can bring to employers.
